Trinidad and Tobago

The ILO office in Port of Spain has organized the first KAB TOT for the Caribbean which was conducted over a two week period in September 2009. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme (YETPP) where  approximately 20 attendees from YTEPP facilities, government Ministries, representatives from NGOs and one representative from Tobago were trained.  Proposals were made at the workshop for a major roll out of KAB, after licensing and adapting for specific needs, to train 1,000 teachers.  The roll out is scheduled to take place in 2010 and is estimated to reach thousands of students within the next few years.
