Algeria

In Algeria, introducing entrepreneurship education has become a growing area of interest since 2008. During that year, the Algerian government with the support of the ILO, began assessing the possibility of launching a KAB pilot test in vocational training and secondary education during the 2009/2010 school year.

Another pilot test has also been designed for higher education after various universities expressed their interest in introducing the KAB distance-learning programme during the 2009/2010 academic year. This pilot will be carried out via the Internet  and is planned to begin in September 2009. The pilot will be carried out with the help of three Algerian IT specialists, who were part of the team that developed the KAB distance-learning version, and who will be trained as national KAB Trainers shortly.
