An official from the Ministry of Education and Labour and another from the Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sport and Recreation, attended a workshop on the KAB program and its modules at the ITC in Turn, Italy in 2006. Since then, the Lesotho government, has shown interest in KAB as a platform for entrepreneurship education to be implemented into their cirriculum. KAB awareness raising workshops have been conducted in Lesothos, one in 2007 and another in 2009, and as of 2009 the KAB modules have been evaluated and approved for a pilot test by the Ministry of Educatin planned to take place in the 2009-2010 school year. 10 TVET insitutions are included in the pilot tests which will be conducted by 20 Facilitators, Trainees and Promoters who were trainned in mid-2009 for the application of KAB into TVET schools. 

 

Education & Training Institutions: 10 TVET institutions will participate in the pilot project

Facilitators, Trainers and Promoters Trained: 2 (around 20 are scheduled to be trained in mid-2009)
