KAB Refresher Workshop in Aqaba under the ILO/BDC Project – September 1 - 3, 2015

Under the framework of the ILO KAB project with the Business Development Centre (BDC) a follow-up workshop was conducted for 3 days during the period 1- 3 September, 2015 in in Aqaba. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Rania Bikhazi, KAB International Key Facilitator (IKF) and Mr. Abduallah El Silawi, KAB National Key Facilitator (NKF) from Palestine.

The workshop was attended by 23 participants (16 males, 7 females) from 5 community colleges.

The workshop aimed to go over the challenges and lessons learned from the implementation of KAB part one (modules 1-5), during 2015 and review some topics to facilitate implementation of KAB part two. A revision of the technical content of KAB part two was conducted in detail to refresh the memory of teachers and prepare them for implementation. The revision also covered all games related to modules 5-8 together with the business game that was played again to ensure a thorough understanding of the instructions and extract lessons learned.

During the closing ceremony, participants discussed together with BDC some challenges/solutions to be addressed such as distribution of student certificates, provision of stationary and increase in follow up visits from BDC and the Ministry of Education.
