As youth unemployment reaches unprecedented levels in many countries, the ILO held a global Youth Employment Forum to address the challenges young people face in the labour market, that took place on 23–25 May 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland. .
Over 100 young trade unionists, entrepreneurs, NGO members and others involved in the promotion of decent work for youth took part in the three-day gathering at the ILO headquarters in Geneva to share their experiences and views on the employment crisis that has left 75 million youth jobless worldwide.
